Classroom AI adoption pilot
A proposed partnership to turn institution-approved AI tools into purposeful teaching practice.
One course unit · 20–40 instructors · 8–16 weeks
Illustrative paid pilot scope; timing, fees and deliverables agreed together.
The objective
Equip faculty to prepare, facilitate and assess a defined set of AI-supported learning activities, then evaluate whether the approach warrants wider adoption.
01 / Define
Confirm the academic sponsor, course unit, faculty cohort, current practice and success criteria. Review language, technology and data requirements.
02 / Prepare
Adapt activities and rubrics. Prepare instructor guides, local coaches and a reviewed demonstration using approved tools.
03 / Deliver
Support classroom delivery with coaching and peer review. Capture agreed observations and evidence of student work.
04 / Decide
Review learning, faculty practice and cost against the agreed baseline. Recommend refinement, expansion or closure, with next-term retention follow-up.
What the pilot produces
- Course-unit activity pack and instructor guides
- Coach preparation and supported teaching sessions
- Integration/data-flow specification where required
- Evaluation report and handover plan
What we measure
Weekly active instructors; classroom observations; assessed student work; fail/withdrawal rates against comparable sections where feasible; cost per supported learner. Review retention in the following term.
Delivery & responsibilities
Digital School leads learning design and instructor preparation; StarLabs supports agreed engineering and QA. The institution provides an academic sponsor, local coaches, approved environments and evaluation access.
Conditions agreed before delivery
Use approved tools and curricula. Educators retain final assessment decisions. Agree Spanish/local-language adaptation, hosting, access, data deletion and ownership before implementation. Proposed terms prohibit model training on student data. Integrations and deployment controls require technical validation.
This is a proposed pilot based on existing education and engineering experience. Scope and evaluation are agreed with the institution.
