Education & AI · Digital School × StarLabs

From AI access to classroom practice.

Help educators use technology with purpose. We bring teaching experience and engineering together to design practical learning activities, support faculty and evaluate what changes.

01 /

Prepare

Adapt one course unit into clear activities, instructor guides and assessment rubrics.

02 /

Teach

Rehearse and deliver the activities with coaching, peer feedback and local faculty champions.

03 /

Improve

Review student work and classroom observations, then refine the next lesson together.

People make the difference

Put the tools you have to work in the classroom.

An institutional AI strategy becomes useful when an educator can prepare a lesson, guide a discussion and assess a student's reasoning. Our proposed faculty programme concentrates on that everyday practice, alongside your academic team and existing technology partners.

Digital School contributes its instructor-preparation model, lesson guides and experience teaching digital skills. StarLabs brings engineering and quality assurance to the technical work a pilot may require.

Ways to work together

Teaching expertise.
Practical partnerships.

Programmes shaped around your learners, educators and institutional priorities.

Faculty development01

Confidence built through practice.

A co-designed faculty pilot combining lesson-level preparation, supported classroom delivery and reflection. Train local coaches from the start so the institution can continue the work.

  • Instructor guides and teaching rehearsals
  • Classroom observation and feedback
  • Train-the-coach resources and handover
Discuss faculty development
Active learning & assessment02

Make students' thinking visible.

Adapt Digital School's missions, challenges and team-based learning for an adult cohort. Students apply ideas, question AI output and explain their decisions; faculty set the rubric and make the assessment.

  • Course-specific missions and team challenges
  • AI-output critique and evidence-based reasoning
  • Instructor-led assessment and reflection
Explore an activity pilot
Curriculum & programme partnerships03

Build on a foundation in digital education.

Explore licensing Digital School's coding curriculum and DBlox for school-age learners, including high-school and enrichment programmes. Agree the learner pathway, instructor preparation and local delivery model together.

  • Coding and AI learning pathways
  • DBlox activities and instructor resources
  • Curriculum licensing and local adaptation
Discuss curriculum licensing
Executive & workforce learning04

Bring AI into the leadership conversation.

Explore co-delivered AI programmes for executive education and corporate teams. Shape practical sessions around leadership decisions, useful workflows and the responsibilities of adopting AI at work.

  • Executive AI and workflow workshops
  • Organisation-specific scenarios
  • Co-delivery and licensing by agreement
Discuss executive education

Technical and vocational providers can also explore mapping selected coding and AI modules to their existing learning objectives, with programme-specific academic review. Discuss a learning pathway.

Start focused. Earn the next step.

One course unit. A clear decision on what follows.

We propose a paid pilot with an academic sponsor, a defined faculty cohort and success criteria agreed before delivery. Use the findings to decide what to improve, what to scale and what to stop.

Illustrative pilot scope · final scope agreed together

1course unit

20–40instructors

8–16weeks

Faculty practice

Weekly active instructors, observed teaching practice and use of the agreed routines.

Student learning

Rubric-based work and fail/withdrawal rates, using comparable course sections where feasible.

Continuation & cost

Cost per supported learner and a plan to review retention in the following term.

Agree the baseline, comparison method and data access with the academic team before delivery. These measures guide the pilot evaluation.

Built around your institution

Fit the teaching. Respect the environment.

Technical discovery is part of the pilot. We agree what needs to connect, where information may be processed and who approves the work before implementation.

Your existing tools

Scope activities around institution-approved tools such as Gemini and NotebookLM. Assess Blackboard/LTI and single sign-on requirements during discovery; confirm compatibility before delivery.

Your language & context

For Spanish-speaking cohorts, include Spanish-language materials, facilitation and local academic review in the proposed delivery plan. Confirm localisation readiness before a pilot begins.

Your academic decisions

Work within approved course units. Educators retain control of rubrics, feedback and final assessment. Review AI-generated material before it reaches learners.

Your data & ownership

Agree customer-controlled hosting, permitted data flows, access and deletion rules. Our proposed pilot terms prohibit training models on student data and define ownership and reuse of content and tools.

The final pilot plan documents the agreed integrations, deployment controls and academic approvals.

A practical foundation

Start with the work we already do.

Our foundation is Digital School's teaching model and learning tools, supported by StarLabs' engineering capability. A higher-education pilot adapts and tests that experience in a new academic setting.

A conversation is a good beginning

Bring one course. Let's shape the pilot.

Tell us about your learners, the faculty group and the tools already in place. We will use that context to scope the teaching, technical work and evaluation together.
